Mission in Andhra Pradesh was the dream of our founder. With invitation of Most Rev. Dr. Archbishop Samineni Arulappa, the late Archbishop of Hyderabad, the mission in A.P. began in year 1981 with 6 sisters from Tiruvalla, Kerala. They are Sr. Mary Sosamma, Sr. Mary Ann, Sr. Mary Liz, Sr. Mercy, Sr. Treesa and Sr. Phlomina. Sr. Mary Sosamma was the Leader of the group. The Community started at Tarnaka in Secunderabad, in a rented house. 3 sisters were students and 3 sisters began their mission apostolate at Trimalgiri in Secunderabad. In the following year these 3 sisters moved to a village called Machnappally, about 100 kms from Hyderabad. They served nearby villages called Uminthal and Vikarabad with Fr. Tim Greenway MHM (Mill Hill Missionary Fathers). Sisters were engaged in works like medical care, teaching poor children, mother and child health programmes, faith formation and catechism...etc.

Jeedimetla: In 1984 Community bought a plot of land with the initiateveness of Rev. Fr. Karl Bruno and 1987 the house is blessed by Archbishop Samineni Arulappa and today it stands as the Regional Centre and formation house of Jeevadhara Region.

In 2008 Jeevadhara Region is erected and Sr. Maria Kuthiravattathu is elected as the 1st Regional Leader. The Community has already vocations from A.P, Odischa and Kerala. The young Region is rich in vocation and zealous in mission fields.
